Zaharaa Altwaij is a senior undergraduate at Yale University majoring in the History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health & Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Driven by her background as a daughter of Iraqi refugees, she is committed to improving the post-resettlement conditions for refugees and immigrants navigating the U.S. healthcare system.
