Emersen Panigrahi, a sophomore at New York University, serves as a Legal Advocacy and Grant Writing Intern at Elena’s Light. Inspired by the organization’s mission, she advocates for immigrant rights through legal avenues while gaining insights into public health and community support for refugees.
