Nooreen Reza’s relationship with Fereshteh Ganjavi began when they were matched through a volunteering position with the Yale Refugee Project in 2011. Since then, she has had the pleasure of seeing Fereshteh and her family grow and thrive, including seeing her fulfill a lifelong goal in establishing Elena’s Light. Nooreen is currently practicing law in Illinois, where she provides direct services to low-income individuals with chronic health conditions, and she is also active in immigrant justice organizing work.
