Nour Al Zouabi

Nour Al Zouabi brings a deeply personal and professional commitment to supporting refugee and migrant communities. Having experienced displacement firsthand as a refugee from Syria, Nour has dedicated her work to advocacy, research, and community empowerment. She is passionate about uplifting the voices of those forced to flee their homes and rebuild their lives in unfamiliar places. Nour is an MPH candidate at Yale School of Public Health and a UConn Alumna. With a background in public health, social justice, and community engagement, Nour has contributed to numerous initiatives focused on refugee integration, language and health access, maternal-child health, and educational equity through her research and professional experiences. As a member of Elena’s Light’s Advisory Panel, Nour is honored to support the organization’s mission of empowering refugee and immigrant women through education, advocacy, and holistic support.
