Naveed Saifi is dedicated to fostering social change through active community involvement and advocacy. For the last six years, he has volunteered with esteemed organizations such as the Afghan Youth Ambassadors for Peace Organization and Afghans for Progressive Thinking; focusing on empowering women and youth in Afghanistan and ensuring their participation in national decision-making processes. Currently, Naveed’s work with Elana’s Light as a Board Member is aimed at providing immigrant women with economic opportunities and facilitating their navigation of the U.S. health system. In addition to his official job as Finance Director at Westcott CC, he dedicates his evenings to teaching English to Afghan women, further supporting their integration and success.
